(05/31/2010 - 08:38 AM) blq@srqreviews.com  -  The 5th annual Savor Sarasota Restaurant week kicks off on Tuesday June 1, 2010 and continues through Monday June 14, 2010.

With one of the highest concentrations of Zagat rated restaurants in the state of Florida, Sarasota’s restaurants provide a wide assortment of cuisine and a casual to fine dining experience from which to choose. This elevation of the culinary arts joins Sarasota’s cultural attractions to provide a wonderfully splendid destination dining experience.

The Savor Sarasota restaurant week is the perfect opportunity for the uninitiated Sarasota diner to sample a number of restaurant offerings and start a list of favorites. Speaking of favorites, Savor Sarasota is also the perfect venue for the experienced Sarasota diner to revisit an old favorite or try something totally new.

All of the participating restaurants offer a multi-course lunch for $15 per person or $25 per person for dinner. SRQ Reviews reviewed the following participants:

Bijou Café
Blu Smoke Island Grill
Caragiulo’s Italian Restaurant
Ceviche
Derek’s Culinary Casual
Libby’s Café and Bar
MoZaic
Ophelia’s on the Bay
Pattigeorge’s Restaurant

Whether you are a “seasoned local” or a 1st time visitor to Sarasota, the Savor Sarasota Restaurant week has something for you. Your dining destination awaits you.

Bon Appétit!

(12/28/2009 - 04:13 PM) Margarita Will  -  Well... It's probably about time for me to make a run to Polock Johnny's or Ann's Dari-Creme - both HDJs with a long history in the Baltimore area...
(12/28/2009 - 04:12 PM) Margarita Will  -  Without being privy to production numbers you can't really categorize a manufacturer...

(12/28/2009 - 04:09 PM) Margarita Will  -  (I have GOT to STOP the MADNESS!)
(12/28/2009 - 04:09 PM) Margarita Will  -  The more HDJs and hot dog manufacturers I add to my web site, the more I find...
(12/28/2009 - 04:08 PM) Margarita Will  -  (If I can use that word...)
(12/28/2009 - 04:08 PM) Margarita Will  -  Will'sWienerWorld.com is too "informational" to lend itself well to editorialization...
(12/28/2009 - 04:07 PM) Margarita Will  -  I just nailed up a blog...
(12/28/2009 - 04:07 PM) mrchilidog1  -  Trying to give it a face lift

I'm not from Las Vegas, but if I went to Las Vegas I would not be interested in Chinese takeout. So, sorry I cannot help you there. But if you are in Las Vegas I would recommend Hash House A Go Go out on west Sahara for a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. They can equal any you can find in the Midwest. I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped there in September. But then I am a pork tenderloin aficionado. smile.gif
